Hello and welcome to the October edition of the MIG Group newsletter - dig-it. It has to be said that the summer has been somewhat disappointing in terms of the weather but it hasn't stopped record numbers of people enjoying the festival circuit. Almost all of these events have included some kind of mobile element, whether it's the ticketing, event marketing or premium content services based around the event itself. This demonstrates how far mobile interaction has moved into the mainstream of marketing and will continue to do so in future.

The MIG Group continues to grow with the addition of Digital Jigsaw, a digital solutions agency. This new sister company of MIG will work closely across the Group and its network of clients developing new and exciting ways of engaging consumers in mobile interactive experiences.

With 32 years joint experience under their belts in brand and marketing promotions, and creating genuine cross platform digital experiences, Digital Jigsaw's management team is able to offer its clients an insight into how the functionality of new technologies, and the psychology of marketing, meet to create successful campaigns. The Jigsaw team posses a dynamic mix of skills and expertise in dealing with agency accounts across mobile and internet campaigns, and have worked with brands such as Sky, Nestle, Channel 4, Honda, Wrigleys, Audi and VW.

Digital Jigsaw's aim is to add an additional layer of interactivity to either traditional advertising campaigns or develop entirely bespoke mobile marketing campaigns on behalf of agencies or brands - in all cases either getting the consumer to buy/try/demonstrate loyalty/get a reward.

The agency's most high profile current campaign is Bud Bucks, which was developed directly for Budweiser. It seems to be going down very well with customers and the marketing press. www.budbucks.co.uk. Other clients include Honda, ITV & Nestle.

"Our focus is to deliver interactivity across all the main digital platforms - mobile (SMS & multimedia), the web, interactive TV & personal portable devices (MP3, PSP's)," says Dominic Murray Operations Director of Digital Jigsaw. "We have in-house capabilities to build mobile applications, web sites, content production and editing."

In a nutshell – Digital Jigsaw is a digital solutions agency - staffed by marketing people who have experience and understanding of companies and technologies regarding the best design, build & implementation of technology in advertising & promotional campaigns for mobile.

Through our joint venture with SinglePoint in the U.S., MIG has been instrumental in preparing the North American market for Broadcast-Mobile interactivity. NBC, one of the three main terrestrial broadcast networks in the U.S. will be launching with our MIDAS™ platform very soon to power its mobile interactive services.

On 4th October, the top U.S. broadcasters gathered at a Symposium organised by MIG & SinglePoint, in Santa Monica, L.A., to highlight examples of the powerful successes enjoyed by UK & U.S. broadcasters with mobile interaction and to discuss their differing market strategies.

The U.S. market is shaping up to become incredibly exciting and the MIG Group is positioning itself to play a major role in developing mobile infrastructure and interactive products and services for the market. We have learnt a great deal from our wide-ranging experiences in the UK and now it's time to export that expertise working with a high calibre partner such as SinglePoint in the U.S.
