Both MIG and 4th Screen Advertising have been active in the mobile industry summer events calendar, and hosted a fabulous summer party at the Kensington Roof Gardens in London.

The summer party, organised by MIG and co-sponsored by Vodafone, Nokia and the NOC, was a huge success with over 500 customers and partners joining us for a BBQ, with music provided by a live Cuban band from Floridita Experiences, world class DJ's and a whole host of interactive mobile fun and games, including VIP barcode entry, SMS & MMS to screen with a array of prizes to win from 6 Nations Rugby tickets to 5* weekend breaks in Europe.

On 4th October, the top U.S. broadcasters gathered at a Symposium organised by MIG & SinglePoint, in Santa Monica, L.A., to highlight examples of the powerful successes enjoyed by UK & U.S. broadcasters with mobile interaction. As the industry grows and defines itself, this invitation-only event drew an outstanding collection of speakers and attendees, all of whom are creating and driving innovative campaigns, policies and technologies involving iTV.

Sessions included a technology and policy panel looking at free-to-end-user messaging and sponsor-driven content and the possibility of State or federal regulation. In addition a discussion panel was convened by media and carrier veterans, which looked at past successes in the US iTV industry and also weighed up the likelihood of its future success.

Mobile Advertising and Marketing 2007: Harnessing the momentum to create valuable business models
12-13 September, London

4th Screen Advertising MD Mark Slade; took part in a panel debate focusing on "Finding the right charging model to optimize marketing and advertising revenue streams". This event guided participants through all the major areas of mobile advertising and marketing, from idea to execution, to create an environment where players understand how to maximize their value in the chain. www.4th-screen.com/newsroom.php

Multimedia Marketing and Advertising
12 – 14th November, London

Mark Slade will give a presentation on assessing the dream and reality of mobile advertising at the Marcus Evans event in London entitled Multimedia Marketing and Advertising which runs from November 12th to 14th. The event will be held at the Danubius Hotel, Regent's Park - www.metelecoms.com

Auditoria & Performing Art Centre Executive Summit 2007
30th October - 1st November, London
